State of Talent Conference

January 2018 - May 2018

The State of Talent Conference welcomes human resource professionals, business owners, and community leaders to better understand the talent in the Manatee and Sarasota counties. This conference has two tracks for attendees to select from including a talent track which focuses on helping employers become better talent managers by learning how to recruit, train and retain the best talent in our community. The leadership track focuses on understanding how to create a culture of talent development through inclusive economic development, career pathways, and education.

Social Media Graphics

Social media graphics made for Facebook and LinkedIn to get individuals interested in attending the conference and used as a save the date reminder. These where designed to go with the theme Rethink Workforce, bringing the workforce of the past combined with the present. This is shown through the use of black and white photos with both past and present depictions of careers.

Seattle Sea Lions

August 2016 - March 2017

The Seattle Sea Lions is a fictional team to join the national Hockey League for the 2017-2018 season that I created for my senior thesis. It is located in Seattle, Washington, where the brand features elements of hockey, the city of Seattle and the players through the use of photography, icons and a limited color palette. Go Sea Lions!

Posters

These posters are designed to promote the Seattle Sea Lions, to provide awareness to the newly added team to the National Hockey League. The posters are to be seen throughout the arena and around the city of Seattle to advertise upcoming games and attract individuals to want to come back to the arena to watch the Sea Lions in another game.

Printed Materials

Iconography

The icons found throughout the Seattle Sea Lion brand are common penalties that are seen and heard during a game. There are 12 of these icons that can be found inside the game day program in the info-graphic. The penalty icons are grouped with an explanation of the penalty and are designed as stick figures with rounded edges, illustrating officials from the waist up. Each icon is created for each hockey penalty with an emphasis placed on the arms and hands of the officials by utilizing the color yellow.

Brand Book

The brand book was created to resemble all elements from the game of hockey to the fans of the team. Each page of the book design uses the color palette, photographs, icons, and typography that makes up the brand as a whole. The sections of the book further explains the each part of the brand.
